Assam Plans to Organize Roadshow in the US in 2027: CM Sarma
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced on Friday that the state plans to host a roadshow in the United States in 2027, following the success of Advantage Assam 2.0 in Guwahati. Speaking at a press conference at Radisson Blu, Guwahati, Sarma stated that American bilateral agencies extended the invitation after recognizing Assam’s economic potential. The event, subject to approval from the Government of India, aims to attract global investments. Highlighting the summit’s achievements, he noted that over 1,100 international participants attended, and multiple MoUs were signed. Additionally, Assam conducted 240 B2G meetings and 180 international-level discussions across countries including Japan, Malaysia, South Korea, Singapore, Thailand, the UK, and the UAE, reflecting strong global interest in the state’s investment opportunities.
