- Arunachal Pradesh has achieved a significant milestone by successfully drilling Northeast India’s first geothermal production well in Dirang, West Kameng district. This pioneering project, led by the Centre for Earth Sciences and Himalayan Studies (CESHS), marks a transformative step towards sustainable energy development in the region.
