Advantage Assam 2.0 Summit Secures ₹5.18 Lakh Crore in Investments
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced that the Advantage Assam 2.0 summit secured a total investment commitment of ₹5,18,295 crore over the next five years. This includes infrastructure projects, district-level MoUs, and other investment pledges. The summit attracted significant investments, contributing to economic growth and job creation. Key announcements include ₹12,000 crore for the Namrup BVCL project and ₹300 crore for an IT park at Guwahati Railway Station, which will also be upgraded into a world-class facility.
