The most ambitious project is from Khanapara to Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport (LGBIA) in Guwahati, with a proposed length of 24 km. -

One ropeway project is proposed at Parushram, Arunachal Pradesh (1.85 km). -
Implementing Agency:
National Highways Logistics Management Limited (NHLML), a company under the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, will implement the projects and has issued a Notice Inviting Tender (NIT) to prepare DPRs (Detailed Project Reports). -
Existing Ropeway Mentioned:
Guwahati already has India’s longest river ropeway (1.82 km), connecting Panbazar to Rajadwar village across the Brahmaputra.
