- Assam is set to launch its first-ever satellite, ASSAMSAT, making it the first Indian state to have its own dedicated satellite. The Assam government is collaborating with ISRO and IN-SPACe to execute this project, aiming to enhance disaster management, agriculture, border security, and infrastructure development.
