The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) is spearheading projects like Project Kusha, aimed at developing long-range surface-to-air missile systems with ranges up to 350 km. These systems are designed to bolster India’s air defence capabilities and reduce reliance on foreign missile systems. -
Space-Based Surveillance:
The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) operates a network of satellites, including the Cartosat and RISAT series, providing high-resolution imagery for real-time monitoring of borders and strategic areas. Additionally, the GSAT-7 and GSAT-7A satellites offer secure communication channels for the Navy and Air Force, respectively. -
Hypersonic Missile Technology:
